Many thanks to the folks who scoured the beaches, shores, parks and roadsides of North and South Pender removing plastics, garbage and other debris, preventing two large bin loads from potentially getting into the Salish Sea.
Thanks also to those who helped people collect their debris and get it into the bins at the drop-off site, and to those who baked treats, signed people in, directed traffic, played music, and took care of the many other tasks required for this event, especially Erin O'Brien, Doreen Ball, Bob Simons, Ben McConchie, Dan Baxter, Pat Holburn, Michelle Marsden, Bruce McConchie, Al and Nancy Waddel, Shelagh and Brad, Jill Ilsley, and Rhondda Porter.
