About the Event
Join us on Saturday, June 27 for a celebration of nature conservation on Pender Island. It’s all happening at Hope Bay, including live music, native plant demonstrations and activities for kids. Here’s what not to miss:
11 AM onwards: Live music on the dock.
11 AM onwards (drop-in): Kids (and adults!) scavenger hunt.
11 AM: Guided tour of the Hope Bay native plant garden with Madelin Emery.
1 PM: Guided natural history explorations at Vulture Ridge, Forest Wetland Nature Reserves. Leave from the Nature Centre.
3 PM: Native plant demonstration with Pender Native Plants.
