About the Event
Mark you calendars for this month’s seminar on amphibian conservation with Dr. Barb Beasley. She fell in love with amphibians in 2000 after studying the squished remains of our little amphibian friends (SPLAT: Society for the Prevention of Little Amphibian Tragedies). Barb will join us to share her knowledge on how we can make Pender a safer place for our amphibian neighbours. Admission is $10 at the door (or pay what you can), cash or card.
“Amphibians are cryptic, enigmatic and curious creatures of study. They’re fascinating – even if you’re not a wildlife fanatic. Amphibians are indicators of ecosystem health, and linked to other important values that we can learn about from them.”
