Time & Location

Sep 28, 2023, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Meet at KELÁ_EKE Kingfisher Forest entry, 6621 Harbour Hill Dr, Pender Island, BC V0N 2M1, Canada

About the Event

Gardom Pond restoration days! Volunteers will meet at the entrance to Kingfisher at 10, and we'll head to the pond from there as there is no parking on Gardom Lane.

We'll provide refreshments and tools, but bring your own pruners and trowels if you have them, and dress for the weather (we're working, rain or shine!).

We will target the invasive species, Reed canary grass growing around the pond, and this will be followed by fencing and planting of native trees and shrubs in October.
