About the Event

You do not have to wait until Cleanup Day to start cleaning a beach or roadside, you can gather up debris or litter anytime and just bring it down to the collection site at Medicine Beach Liquor Store parking lot on April 23 between 9 and noon. Or you can check in at the collection site in the morning of the 23 and get assigned a beach, grab a bag and head out to clean.  Bring down the garbage and debris that you have collected , where other volunteers will be ready to help you get it into the bins.  Then feel free to grab coffee or some tea and a snack and check out the music or displays, and put in your name, or your child's name, in for a prize draw.  Although Covid-19 mandates will likely be lifted, we ask that you please be careful of physical distancing and stay home if you are not feeling well. Please contact us if you need help getting your collected debris down to the drop off site, or if you are available to help out at the drop off site in the morning of  Beach Cleanup Day. Registration is not required, but if you already know what beach or road you will be cleaning, it would be helpful if you would let us know by emailing president@penderconservancy.org.
