About the Event

Join Pender Islands Conservancy and Raincoast Conservation Foundation in welcoming Dr. Andy MacKinnon to S,DÁYES for an evening of learning about the magical world of mushrooms! There will also be a chance to purchase one of Andy’s renowned nature guides and have it signed by the author!

When: Friday December 2, 2022 from 7PM-9PM

Where: Pender Islands Community Hall - Upper Floor

Tickets: $25 suggested donation, all proceeds go to the purchase and protection of KELÁ_EKE Kingfisher Forest.

Can’t make the seminar? Visit Talisman Books or the Nature Centre at Hope Bay to purchase a great stocking stuffer: a signed copy of one of Andy’s books Plants of Coastal British Columbia or Mushrooms of British Columbia. A portion of each book sold will be donated to the KELÁ_EKE Kingfisher Forest land protection campaign.
